Stocking Swap/More Paper than Shoes

I took part in a swap with More Paper Than Shoes, and we had to make stockings , they measured approx.8" by 4" . I made my shabby chic style, like all my work. I love the way they came out. I think I am going to make smaller version an make ornaments for one of my trees.

Napkin Springs!

I have had these bed springs sitting in a box for about 2 years and never quite started them but I just got the urge the other day and then couldn't stop. They are simple and fun. Loss of A Friend

I just lost one of my best friends. She was only 48 and suddenly became very ill and it was over in 3 days. There are some things in life that just don't make any sense. I know God has his plan for us but in this case I feel like her family is going to go through terrible pain and loss. She left behind a husband, son and 2 daughters.
She was the friend that I could always be just me around ,  we did some crazy things together, laughed all the time..
This is going to take some time to get use to , but I know this I have someone look down upon me everyday and watching over me.
